CLAXTON & CLAXTON, LLC is an AV rated civil trial law firm composed of attorneys who are experienced in legal representation for insurance companies, their insureds and other party litigants. This requires a commitment to advance cases toward completion through pre-suit investigation, examinations under oath, mediation, arbitration, summary adjudication, trial and appellate practice before State and Federal Courts. The firm not only represents litigants in Georgia and Tennessee, but has also represented litigants throughout the Southeastern United States, Ohio and California.

The firm's practice is primarily limited to general liability defense as well as the defense of questionable insurance claims such as fraud, arson, theft, and staged residential, commercial, marine, and automobile losses for many of the firm's clients.

Additionally, the firm represents Plaintiffs in significant litigation involving motor vehicle and trucking accidents, dog-bite injuries, and has had significant success in cases against Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Kroger, CVS, Wal-Greens and other corporations who detained or prosecuted individuals who were wrongfully accused of shoplifting.

The firm provides representation to insurers in coverage disputes between the insurer and the insured. This litigation seeks resolution of issues involving timeliness of notice, completed operations, intentional acts, fraud, collusion, misrepresentation and additional contractual exclusions. All of the firm's attorneys have experience representing insurers in Declaratory Judgment actions.
