April L. Hoellman is an associate with CLAXTON & CLAXTON, LLC. April  represents litigants in first party and third-party bodily injury claims, auto property losses,     common carrier litigation, declaratory judgment actions, insurance fraud, as well as commercial and residential property losses. She also  handles general liability claims and representation of insurers and their insureds in cases involving acts of negligence and other tort claims.

She is admitted to practice in Georgia and New York and is admitted to appear before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Middle District of Georgia as well as the  Courts of New York State.

Hoellman graduated from the University of Georgia with  dual degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2002. While at UGA. she won the 1999 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship  and  was a member of the 1999 SEC Championship Team (Gym Dawgs). She was on the Deans List each year at UGA and was also a member of the Alpha Phi Sigman Honor Society and Psy Chi Honor Society.

April later attended  New York  Law School graduating in 2008 with recognition in Trial Advocacy, Criminal Law Clinic, Civil Procedure, Evidence and Criminal Law Clinic "Boot Camp". She later served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Ronald A. Zweibel of the New York Supreme Court.

Ms. Hoellman has traveled to South Africa and Panama where she  worked for NGOs for several months. April is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, where she is a member of the Younger Lawyers Section and has also passed the New York Bar.  She was born in Sneedville, Tennessee.
