Tammi L. Doss is an associate with CLAXTON & CLAXTON, LLC. Tammi represents Defendants in insurance fraud and arson, common carrier litigation, declaratory judgment actions, bodily injury claims, and commercial and residential property losses. Additionally, she handles general liability claims and insurers and their insureds in cases involving acts of negligence and other tort claims.

Tammi is admitted to practice in Georgia, and is admitted to appear before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Doss was employed for several years with American Family Life Assurance Company (AFLAC) in Columbus, Georgia. During this tenure, she graduated cum laude from Troy State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001.

Tammi later attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan as an Honors Scholar where she completed her studies in two years.  During law school, she was a Finalist in the Intra-School Moot Court Competition and a Semi-Finalist in the First-Year Moot Court Competition and the Invitational Mock Trial Competition, and also won individual speaking awards.  

Ms. Doss served as a law clerk extern to the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich, Senior Judge for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has performed contract litigation work for Greenberg Traurig and Kilpatrick Stockton.

Tammi is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, where she is a member of the Young Lawyer Division, and a member of the Atlanta Bar Association.
